Trent is originally from Illinois, but now lives in South Carolina, where he is licensed as a professional counselor. He has been interested in global service since the age of sixteen, and spent time in Costa Rica and the UK during his undergrad in Ohio. He began to pursue counseling, particularly in trauma, as a career when his eyes were opened to its potential while serving in North Africa.
