Executive Director

We are searching for a mature Christian who is passionate about the Good News reaching the ends of the earth and caring for the people doing that work. This person must embody Valeo's mission: to serve those sent to minister cross-culturally by providing preventative and restorative care to strengthen their well-being in life and ministry.

The ideal candidate could be described as someone who:

• Excels at raising money from diverse sources for a charity or non-profit.

• Understands the needs of both their team and the clients they serve.

• Loves God and people as much as they love accomplishing goals.

• Values excellence, always looking for ways to improve their work.

• Participates in global collaboration and networks well with other agencies to offer services and share resources.

• Ensures the team stays focused on the most important aspects of the ministry.

• Expects professionalism as well as enjoys and encourages lightheartedness in the workplace.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Set annual goals and strategies.

• Ensure staff is empowered, appreciated, and connected.

• Set an annual budget with the Board.

• Ensure goals of intakes, sessions, and client outcomes are met.

• Maintain existing and develop new donor relationships.

• Maintain legal and ethical compliance.

• Lead regular staff meetings and participate in planned Board of Directors meetings.

• Maintain relationships with referral sources to ensure ongoing successful partnerships.
