6 Lenses of Suffering

Do you find that global workers sometimes struggle to interpret well what their sufferings mean? Do you find yourself trying to make sense of others’ sufferings so that you can help them navigate the path through suffering?

What if you had one tool to share with global workers that would help them discern their suffering?

We are fortunate to have a resource to share with you to do this very thing. As you may remember, our former colleague, Geoff Whiteman, co-edited the latest impactful book in member care, Essentials for People Care and Development - A Collection of Best Practices, Research, Reflections, and Strategies. Within that book, one of the chapters was written by Kimberly Drage and Tim Davy introducing six narratives of suffering in the Bible.

With their permission, we consolidated these six views into a one-page free tool called the “6 Lenses for Suffering” to share with you as a quick reference when shepherding global workers through their suffering narratives. You are also welcome to share this free tool directly with global workers and with your colleagues.
